Geez... I so know what you mean Neha... The pressure is just sickening... Having been to girls’ college I kinda escaped being judged too harshly by my peers especially guys...

But going to the Univ after that made me so consious of my looks that there actually came a time when I couldnt bear to step out of the house without perfectly straight hair!!

Cant say I’m still over it, but thankfully I’m not having anxiety attacks if I’m having a bad hair day or if I put on a kilo or two!!

That happens with most of us, we become more consious that’s truly right. I just wanted to make young girls awake from such askew acts which they might face by entrapping themselves into matured guys.

The pressure to look good is definitely high on girls. It looks as though the average looking ones are not human beings at all , leave alone the ugly ones.

But I do agree that people should try to look presentable at any age without taking undue pressure.

We are living in the country like India, average looking, good looking, ugly looking all doesn’t matter if u r a pool of talent. just be outspoken, confident and work hard to stay.

I can appreciate this article. I, at one time, would worry about looking perfect but I stopped. I stopped coloring my hair, i wear the clothes that i like not whats trendy, i dont wear jewelry cause i cant afford the good stuff, i dont wear makeup cause i believe that i am beautiful in my natural state.

I lost weight because ”I” was unhealthy which made ”me” unhappy.
